Melancholia.
An image that attracts. It shines a light through heavy emotions. It pulls me closer, as if I was born to follow the decay of self and the fall of man. A man swallowed by melancholy, a slave to his desires, bound to the ghost of devotion.
The central concept behind Melancholia is emotional confrontation and the project explores how melancholy exists within everyday life and how emotional exhaustion accumulates over time. Instead of presenting melancholy as dramatic sadness, I wanted to focus on subtle emotions
such as numbness, exhaustion, repetition, loneliness,
boredom, stillness and vulnerability.

This short film is about nothing. Through objects and still images, it leaves space for the viewer’s own interpretation. Explanation limits interpretation, so this experimental film resists narrative and certainty. Instead it will explore stillness, objects, and nothingness by treating the human body as an object within the frame, the film invites emotion to emerge not through action, but through presence, absence, and quiet observation.

This work is a conversation between body and clothing, highlighting how shapes conceal and transform our sense of self.
by presenting a person partially unclothed, it emphasizes the tension between our exposure, restrictions, freedom and identity.
the black and white helps to focus our attention on silhouette and movement, inviting the viewer to consider how clothes act as a shield and as a projection of identity.
with this work we wanted to challenge ourselves to think or reflect on our connection with clothes as a form of expression or concealment.
in sum, how fabric and flesh interact to construct who we are.

Silence. This work is meditative approach to the mind of a man, drawn in his thoughts.
silence is the poetry of the dead man.
in silence we embrace our humanity.
ear it, feel it, visualize it and live it.
